Sorry, I saw a table on the register a whileback, listing all the stats for Alpinas, both per year and per model, example there's say 69 D3 Bi-turbo Tourings, 12 say built in 2010: would this mean 69 in total or just RHD in the UK?
I work off two sources of info for build data.

There were 534 E91 D3 BiTurbos produced across the globe as per the Alpina-Archive.com and your car is the 89th built
Then if you want to know the number of cars built to UK spec the Alpina Register UK Production Stats table shows there were 85 built.
I believe the UK Production numbers, split by year, is based on the dates Sytner delivered them as new cars.

You then have the Register and Archives which aim to display photos of each individual vehicle built. The difference is that the Register shows vehicle images/descriptions where a current or previous owner has submitted details (can be global) and for the UK built vehicles, all are listed based on data Sytner provided and shown as Alpina GB-owned where no other info is available. The Archive however, is based on the build data provided by Buchloe and is populated by either: owner submitted data or by the team who review for sale ads and add this info to the Archive. Because each vehicle of a particular model is sequentially numbered, it is safe to assume that where a vehicle does not appear on the Archive, it's never been spotted in the wild to date. As in the case of your car, if you would like to add it to the Archive, I can organise that.

Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, only 5.5% (#16**) were UK vehicles, and of those, these are the 15 from the Register, only 11 have been spotted in the wild to date:

It appears that none of them were Carbon Black and whilst FJ62 AOO is not currently assigned to any vehicle, it is probable it was #049 which has Sun Protection Glass and Shadowline trim whereas #091 doesn't have sun protection and chrome trim.

** Register build stats table shows 16 F11 D5's but only 15 are recorded as individual vehicles in the Register

I saw a Carbon black one on the M1 picture attached. Am sure it is Carbon Black as is exactly the same colour as my F11.

Hmm, that is a strange one. There is no record of an offically built F11 D5 in Carbon Black, so either that is an elaborate replica or the photo/weather conditions are influencing the colour.

Looking at it some more, that is probably #053 (Imperial Blue) which could be more easily mistaken for Carbon Black.

No way to tell for sure now as that registration is no longer on any car, so unless someone actually knows the vehicle it's a moot point.

It’s just the UK vehicles listed on the Register, typed into a spreadsheet, the last seen date is based on the Archive data. Nothing clever or secret.

You're a fountain of knowledge: are the production numbers listed on the Register just for UK RHD Alpinas please (ie is there a separate register for worldwide figures, or is this list the total inclusive figure)? I always get a bit confused regarding the numbers that are actually out there.

Thanks
This page details the cars registered in the UK as well as showing the global total.

In the case of the D3 BiTurbo, it is slightly confusing because the 4 pot (E9x) and 6 pot (F3x) figures are shown in the same section.

Breaking it down based on a changeover year of about 2012, the 4 cylinder model total figures for the UK are:

Saloon: 260
Touring: 85
Coupe: 96

Jumping to here, gives us the total global production figures for the E9x:

Saloon: 478
Touring: 534
Coupe: 289

A similar exercise for the F3x 6 cylinder models gives us UK totals compared to global production of:

Saloon: 105 / 460
Touring: 54 / 260

Hope this helps

425 views on autotrader but no responses yet. I may have to think about a dealer, selling on commission or something but unsure who to ask. I've noticed Uber GT, Evand Halshaw, Barker at Birds and Prestige brokerage mentioned on here previously so may look up their details and see what their response is. The obvious choice would have been to p/x, but Sytner were so far off with their offer (what a surprise!) that I decided to sell privately, but I've got too many cars now!

I suspect a good number of those views will have come from people on here!

Realistically a week is a very short time to be selling an Alpina. Usually cars are sticking around on the market for a good few weeks or months. I also think you have priced quite high for a non-LUX car despite the lower miles.
