Afternoon all,

Just putting feelers out at the moment, I'm preparing my D3 MT for sale in the next few weeks. I've just applied to have my private reg taken off so not being advertised elsewhere untill V5 is back with updated details but thought I'd share it here first.

I've had #207 for the last 4 years, I'm only the second owner of this car, it is currently sitting at 107K miles but this will increase with daily use.

Full service history - Not all BMW though
Service due in 2000 miles, this will be done before sale.
Tyres are showing approx 3mm of tread front & rears
MOT till May 2018

I have replaced all the suspension last year with Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs , Apart from that I've only had to change an ABS sensor. everything else has been preventative maintenance and regular servicing.

Some of you may remeber where I starte d athread with someof the work I had done when I took ownership, see link: http://www.thealpinaregister.com/forums ... ht=#142991

I had all 4 wheels refurbed at Lepsons, all 4 brake calipers refurbed and coated by big red. Replaced all badges wheels and body work.
Rear windows tinted to factory standard
Cruise Control fitted
2010 BMW Professional stereo with bluetooth & USB port fitted
dash is black carbon effect.
Black headlining

I'm thinking of advertising her at £7500, but open to sensible offers.
If any one has questions please feel free to give me a shout.[/url]

I've just actually started advertising it on Sunday.
You could well have done down the beach as I had just cleaned it up to get pictures taken.

I've now had it serviced and 4 new tyres fitted to it yesterday.

Looking good Deeg. What are you replacing it with?

Good luck with the sale Deeg, yours was one of the cars that inspired me to keep mine looking tidy as you have done very tasteful modifications.

Where did you get the carbon trim from - freshens the cabin up very nicely.

Nothing officially confirmed now yet.
If she doesn't sell I'll easily keep her as I'm not fixed to anything.

Thank you very much. Appreciate the comments.

I had a local guy hydrodip then. I looked at getting them wrapped but was worried about durability.

Bumping this up, I’ve readvertised it as I did have a replacement arranged and was planning on trading this in against an M3, after having it independently inspected I put a deposit down on it to secure it. Friday afternoon I drove from Aberdeen to Bolton to pick it up and trade in the D3. However all was not as it seemed and I rejected the M3 and received all my cash back.

It now means I’m back to square one with the car hunt and I have dropped the price.

Sorry to hear that Deeg, but you were quite right to refuse the M3 if it was not all that you were lead to believe.
Good luck with the resale of #207.

Aww man, I just logged back in to see if my old car had resurfaced a year later...

Kind of wish I never sold it just now.

Just noticed someone has added the stripes to it also. one thing I never got round to doing.

Well, if you do want her back, she's next over the block on the 02 Oct. I reckon £4k + fees would buy it, this will be sale number 4

Trust me I’m tempted but I don’t have the spare funds for it just now. If I did I’d be all over it. Great car and needed nothing when I last had it and only done 5k since I traded in.
