I do manage to find some photo from this web site www.adac-gt-masters.de (all together 6/7 including the podium celebration with Andreas) and the press release but in German. What a pity and have to wait for a few days from the official Alpina web site.
The TV coverage will be shown on DSF on 29th Aug. at 13:15 European time.
Just as I said in May in Silverstone Alpina will finish in podium this year but this week result is more than I expected. :D :D :D
Race 2 starts this morning at 10-11am. Hopefully another win is on the card as the car won't be suffered any weight penalty as it is 1350kg which is the heaviest among the whole field.

Andreas Wirth, one of the drivers, is the guy who did the B6 taxi rides at Rockingham

Oh damn it! They didn't finish the second race. The car only last 3 laps and retired. There might be an accident involved and it started on grip 6/7 I think. Wait until next week to see the whole TV footage what happened.

Disappointing result in the second race - the ALPINA appears to have stopped after lap 3 - not sure what happened.

Hi Guys

meant to post this but clean forgot it turns out there was an issue with the engine that put an end to race 2.

Nothing serious I believe the engine itself wasn't damaged - just enough to put them out of the race :(

Shame about that in race 2, brilliant result in the first race though! Fantastic.
