Today’s Treatments: Enhancement detail, inc front end Stone guard wrap, Engine Detail, Piano trim correction & Ceramic Paint Protection Detail

Here we have a 2011 BMW Alpina B3 BiTurbo Coupe. In an amazing blue! seen a few b3's but not in this colour. This little Alpina has something a little different. You may think the front has orange peel, but its actually a full front end wrap from Paint Shield, as well as sills & wing mirrors. All of which were in need of a little more gloss then protection.

Here she is on arrival:

Still has Delivery Wax left over in places from where Wax Oil has been sprayed into panels.

So First job, engine bay!

Image

Using low pressure, Maxolen engine cleaner and a Swissvax Brush to get to the little areas.

Next, Wheels. Today’s tester product:

Viskan Brush for the arches as well as Autosmart G101.

It was a nice warm day today. But, i feel sorry for the mobile guys as machine polishing, washing, claying in hot weather is a pain! So, i got some temp readings before she was washed.

Side away from sun:

So, back to washing. It was Pre-rinsed with Valetpro Citrus Pre-wash then rinsed again.

2 Buckets set up, testing another Autobrite product. A new gloss shampoo :doublesho

Foamed with Valetpro PH foam:

Due to the timescale to get all the tasks done, There is little photos of the enhancement.

But, indicators removed to give a good clean up.

Everything masked and enhancement cracking on:

Once happy with the machine finish. I was time to clean other areas before the Ceramic was Applied:

Once Ceramic was applied, the engine was finished and all the bits we re-added to the car.

Next job was the piano trim on the inside, then ceramic seal it for added scratch protection. Once i was satisfied with the finish. Meguiars Endurance was used on the tyres for added protection.

Here is the finished product:

Amazing - I can only imagine how good #220 would look with that kind of treatment!!!

A the risk of being vulgar, how muc does that kind of attention cost, and how often does it need doing to that level??

Hi Mark. I price each job as its own. This way i only charge the customer for what is needed & wanted rather than a package where you might end up getting services your not interested in.

So if you want a quote, i'm more than happy to help.

My email is info@cleandetail.com

All the best,
Nick
