New D3 Arrived Yesterday.

Post by BeeEmm » Tue Jun 03, 2014 4:57 pm

Waited 8 months for the car. Well worth it. These were taken just after it was delivered to the dealer and before the PDI. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Absolutely fantastic looking car. I love your choice of colours and trim (the new luxury wood is great).

More pictures when she is prep'd please!!

I am having a 'glass' coating applied and it will be fully finished on 5 June. I can't wait. I will post more photos once it is finished.

Congratulations! Looks fantastic. Very jealous!

Is that sitting on 19" wheels? First time I've seen the new D3 on 19s. All the publicity shots seem to show it on 20s.

Yes, they are 19". I drove both 20" and 19" and found little difference, except price.

8 months seems to be mean wait, but well worth it. I have just done over 10,000 in mine and have enjoyed the all round driving experience, I was thinking of a forum update on things so far.

I wonder what the final production will be for the F30 D3 as the demand may out strip the normal 600 or so production run for a specific model.

We shall see, but what a great auto for new and used owners alike when they appear over time.

I think I prefer the look of 19" too. I can't believe I am saying this as I love large alloys and low profile tyres, but I think the F30 looks more in proportion on the 19" than the 20".

Anyone else agree?
