real shame i'm missing it this year (make sure you get loads of photos - though I know you will)

I'll be on a narrowboat on the oxford canal (also in what looks like a rainy bank holiday weekend)
closest i'll get to Silverstone is as I drive down the A43 on Friday evening.

Have fun.

Hi Neil, I mentioned it earlier, but just wanted clarification.. I won't be able to get there until about 11am due to my son having football coaching.

I recall from last time I went to a Silverstone event they're a bit tight on the gates, so will they still let me in at that time?

I think someone already asked, but where does everyone meet up?

I'm guessing we need to be there on time or access will be difficult like Rich says. I'll be picking my tickets up at their office as I bought them too late they won't post them.

Really looking forward to this, last time I went to see GT's was about 5 years ago and it was a cracking event! :D

If anyone is heading up the M1, I don't mind meeting in any of the services on the way up or even @ South Mimms on the M25 since i'm passing that way.

cheers mr dalive aka Adam :)

Silverstone on google maps

It is on the left hand side before you get to main entrance. Think it is signposted. It is the building that is semicircular on the above link.

So room for improvement - Car 10 didn't finish it had some kind of problem.

Car 9 seemed to struggle from the start losing maybe 5 places in first lap - Car 10 seemed to be fairing better before it problem.

Car 9 hit something with its front right hand side - but finished the race (3 laps down)

Great day, some excellent racing and as Neil said the weather was kind to us. We did not encounter rain until we reached Essex!
