Its an Alpina Specific event for parking within Sytner area but of course if you want to park outside and have a wonder around there would be no issues. Tickets are now all allocated for Alpina cars.

I do apologise for not posting the Sytner meet. Due to some incompetence on my behalf I could not log in and it was remiss of me not to get it sorted.

The reason Alex Morley from Sytner is coordinating this time as opposed to me is due to the onerous nature of the task, albeit a relatively small number of people. There were no shows, requests the day before, cars changed, withdrawals and even one person who called at 10pm the night before asked to attend and when accommodate didn't turn up!

The event is full with 86 booked and I believe a small number of reserve.

I should like to point out there is a very real cost to Sytner to do this, they have to move vehicles from site to make space for attendees, this take some of Friday and Saturday. They need extra staff for cleaning as more people using the facilities, they provide the catering wagon and pay for it.

Please note it's only a week from this event as I write this. If you have registered and no can no longer attend and have not informed either Alex Morley or me please do so. Alex had a list of reservists so please allow those wish to attend who have an opportunity should previous notified attendees drop out.

Just a weather update from a local to the site, there is a serious amount of flooding around here today and only going to get worse, please do take extra time to arrive as the usual incompetent drivers are out causing extra delays that are unnecessary.

Just an update on the weather, we have had little rain today but all smaller feeder roads are flooded and closed. If you come off the M1 and come in to Nottingham via the A52 and down the ring road, it's fine.

RIP to the big man. His legacy will live on.
