Now I have my new pride and joy, I'm wondering whether you guys in Alipna land have added extra security to your cars - or is the standard stuff good enough?

Mine had a tracker on it - which was good as it give you a discount from the insurer. It also gives you the peace of mind if (god forbid) it was stolen.

My insurance company [First Alternatice]said Tracker was compulsary. Fortunately the previous owner had fitted it.

I also use the code option on the computer every time I park my car, including in the garage. It only takes a few seconds to set / unset it when you get into the habit. Even if someone aquires your keys it will take them a while to overcome this.
