Its hard to tell. That iDrive is common to X5, 7 and new 8 series.

Logic dictates its probably an 8 though, given the M8 is out....

I was thinking XB7/XD7 as there have been loads of press spy shots of them being tested. I've not seen much about the 8 series yet.

Oh, god, please....no. Too much of this gash hardware on the streets already. About time ALPINA led the way away from large SUV's and oversized fossil fuelled vehicles and developed something groundbreaking like price rivals Tesla and Porsche are. It really is time to move on. Not really my idea of an ALPINA either, but the US is a big opportunity currently so they're working towards that I guess. And presumably the basic BMW model range limits where ALPINA can go to a degree.
