B5 loan car....thanks Robbie B from Harlod Wood Sytner

Post by Simon Rose » Sun Feb 03, 2019 3:17 am

I was lucky enough to borrow for day the B5 from the wonderful Robbie at Harold Wood. It’s the one on the Sytner system as a demo

https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/954 ... ch-tronic/

All I can say is that it is #@£&#£& amazing.

It is possibly twice as good as my D in almost every respect. I really did not think that would be possible but it is.

Make sure you get a ride in it. Make sure you get it to massage your bum and back whilst going slightly over the speed limit......

I still love my D but now I think I get why the petrol engined Alps are sooooo loved.

I was fortunate enough to have an extended test drive in the B5 Touring, which was at Harold Wood.

I had the F10 B5 BT but the new one is in a different league, nearly a hundred BHP more than mine and a lot lighter :D

With so much performance on tap, it is only a matter of time before the NIPs come through the letter box :(

The XD3/4 come with the Pirelli’s, so a mixed bag it seems at the moment.
