Alpina newbie

Post by PaulCD3 » Thu Oct 04, 2018 12:17 am

Hi all,
Had this beauty about 6 months now. E90 D3 #224. Mystic Blue with stripes. A rare colour I think? Any other Mystic Blue D3 owners here?Well looked after by previous owners. 2 keys. D3 service book with full BMW/Specialist service history. Just coming up to 110000 miles and drives flawlessly. Had Dagenham dustbins last 10 years, cheap and cheerful motors doing the family bit. Had a E46 330 Clubsport 10 odd years ago and a E36 325 4 door before that. This car has really put a smile on my face since I've owned it.
Looking forward to meeting up with other owners in the future.
Cheers
Paul

Nice looking colour.

Isn't that the car park opposite the Kurzal?

Welcome to the forum from an old Essex boy (long time ago).

Still got family in Hadleigh and use the visits as an excuse to give ours a run every couple of months.

Might see you around as we always have a trip down the sea-front!!

Enjoy the car - you'll never want anything else - apart from a V8!!

Thanks mate. Loving every minute of it! Busted my ankle at work last Friday so I can't drive at the mo. It's breaking my heart watching the missus poodle off to work in it!
The Clubsport was only 3 years old when I got it. Blue/violet, all the extras, drive was decent. Fairly quick I suppose. Had to sell to pay for my wedding! But this Alpina is something else. feels quicker than the 330, or I'm just not used to it! I'm never owning another BMW :D :D

Haha.... you have a good eye mate! Yeah you got it in one and cheers for the welcome! Definitely tap me up when you come down next. Not even seen another Alpina on the road since I've had this one. Only live a 5 min drive from the seafront. Definitely part of the family now, will never own another BMW

Cheers for that Bob. Really good knowing history of the car like that and that someone else loved her as much as I do!
