This is the result of poking my nose under sill cover just to see. Still I suppose that’s not to bad for 24 years. What else have I got to do on a cold wet day. Mean’s I’ll have to take the other one off to look or else I’ll end up thinking about it as I drive along.

That looks like new section needing welding in there. I hope it turns out better than the photos suggest.

The jacking point once off is is solid, once the flacking paint is off behind the jacking point and wire brushed it is in remarkably good nick so has been rust treated and painted now looks excellent. I will however not use these jacking point again and instead use the round piece on the re enforcement piece under engine. The rear piece has been cut out and is waiting for a plate I’ve made to be welded in. I’m going to do inside the sills with Dynax S50.
