MICHELIN TYRES
My BMW dealer is having difficulty sourcing Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (265/35 R19 98Y) for my Alpina B3S Bi-turbo. Michelin UK help(?)line was unable to throw any light on any supply issues.
Does anyone have any info?

I had a similar issue before Christmas with 2 PS4's in 265/35 R18 size for my B10, I went to ATS for them but they couldn't get any date from Michelin when new stock would become available,
fortunately they located two at an ATS centre, in Kent I believe, which they transferred over and fitted for me.
Michelin own ATS so if ATS are struggling to get dates out of them......

I was told a few years ago that Michelin manufacture specific numbers of some of their tyres annually and they can run out before the next year’s production. I did email them when I was struggling and they were spectacularly unhelpful.
I think you might find some by ringing round some specialist tyre shops but I would never buy tyres from a BMW dealer.

The tyre man at my local Sytner seems to be able to get them within hours - but at a price you may not like. Never the less he knows how to deal with Alpina wheels.

Re: MICHELIN TYRES
Had similar just before Christmas for a pair of 4s in that same size. My usual tyre place Black 'n' Rounds at Silverstone came through although it took the boss Pete a week to get some in. Might be worth a try and not too far from you Terry. An excellent tyre place who know how to look after expensive alloys. Good luck!Terry Winter wrote:My BMW dealer is having difficulty sourcing Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (265/35 R19 98Y) for my Alpina B3S Bi-turbo.
