I'm wondering what the Alpina connection is?

Also, the article claims to be about best investments but simply shows 10 most expensive cars; the Veyron isn't a good investment at all judging by used prices. Not to mention the rather extravagant running costs.

I think Topcat was trying to drum up some support for his comment on the thread where he refers to a rare ALPINA as possibly being a good investment ...

I thought this link would prove of interest to those with a fondness for classic Alpinas

Of course "tim boles" may well be wrong - but if not and B6 Alpinas go out of fashion quicker than early Range Rover Sports- then at least I will have had fun trying (the "tim boles" theory of classic cars and values)!
