Re: Z4 E85 Colchester

I know there is one that has been off the road in Copford for a while, I can't remember what colour it is but it had a private plate on it.

Re: XB7 trade in

Availability of the XB7 in the US is greater than in the UK. I think tehre are only 3 over here. I probably need my eyes drilling out but I like the X7 but wasn't sold on the looks of the XB7 based on the pictures but I had occasion to go to Sytener in Sheffield a couple of weeks ago and had a prope...

Do you have a registration number? If you do, I may be able to find out the build number.

Thanks James, that does help. There are less out there than I was expecting unfortunately. If you asked me I would've guessed twice that.
No problem, I don't have the figures for 2018/19 but when (if) I get time to do it, I will update :D

Re: U.S 2018/19 B6 Production Numbers? WTB

So, some time ago I started to work through all of the F06 B6s but only got as far early 2017. What I can tell you is that from model introduction to January 2017, there were 12 Alpina Green B6 Gran Coupes with Amaro Brown leather. I can't at present, speak as to what the position is with anything b...

Re: Tailgate issue

If I remember correctly, the B10 V8 has an extra bit of trim on the lower tailgate so, if it has that piece fitted, the struts aren't man enough to lift the extra weight.

I've also read about people re making the blind clips with 3D printing, something to maybe look into
I don't know whether you know Elliot Dervish from your hockey days but he does 3D printing.

Re: 2009 B3 allrad touring RHD 41k miles.

Bob, do you have either of the VINs as I have the format of the E91 B3/B3S and B3/B3S Allrad. If I recall, the Alpina VIN is usually quoted on the auction sheet. If you have that, I should be able to determine what it is or started life as. I though the reason we didn't tend to see Allrad Alpinas un...

Re: Tailgate issue

E39 tourers (and other BMWs with tailgates) are notorious for wires fracturing in the harness where the hinges are. I had to repair wires when I had a B10 V8 touring and also a fog light feed on our 5 GT so it could be that.

Re: Silver F30 D3 BiTurbo Saloon - Colchester

It was parked on the "Screwfix" industrial estate in Stanway, near Colchester. Getting a few cars round this neck of the woods now. There's also a black Roadster S in Copford, just down the road from Stanway. Never seen it driven, permanently on the drive way and covered in dust. Not taken a pictur...

Re: E31 B12 5.0 #9370

It's not the shipping that would be a problem, the Duty and VAT would make your eyes water  If the car had been exported from the UK would VAT apply as it had already been paid in the UK? Don't know much about duty and VAT, although, according to the car checker I use, it has never been mark...
