E46 B3S Touring 104 - 12th January 2019

Seen in the car park at the Slough Ice Arena this evening. It was too dark to get a picture.

Had been to see the ice hockey there this evening.

Is there a Jets fan on here?

XD3 in silver, X1 WJB Beaconsfield on the 8th of December

You followed me on to Grove Road, Beaconsfield at about 3 o'clock. I was in a blue 535d GT turning in to one of the driveways.

Oddly the Lst time I saw an XD3 was in exactly the same place a couple of years ago.

Thanks Danny, it was a thrill to be out in it, so thank you. Nice to see that much of the power can still be delivered in the peeing rain :D/

Hell of a machine and I would rather have that over the new 8 even though it is a nice car.

Thanks again Sir

Correction, I have just done some digging and the B12 5.0 is actually a tricked up 840 from what I can see.

I popped along for a couple of hours and chatted to Dan (can't remember his surname) and Robbie who are both great guys. Dan took me out in the B5 - ooh mumma!! Relentless is the word I think best describes it.

I saw two D5S, an E90 D3 BT saloon for sale, Dan's E91 D3 BT an E31 B12 5.0.

I think if it's in the outbox it means the recipient hasn't seen it yet.

It first popped up at Kahn for £49,995 in February 2016 and was subsequently reduced to £39,995 in January of this year. It originally sold at an auction in Japan for circa £23k so probably cost just under £32k by the time you add shipping, import duty and VAT

Only if they have the documents and have paid out (and the payout has been accepted).

best thing may be to ring the DVLA as I would imagine they will be able to easily tell you if the number is transferrable but you will no doubt have to prove you own with a V5 reference or similar.

If the registration was issued as a cherished number then I would think it should be transferable, if it was one of a block given to the dealership it will likely be tied to the car and therefore never to be re-issued.

I don't like screws and only re-use them where they have previously been used. Just make sure you get proper number plate tape (it's cheaper to buy on a roll than pre-cut strips) and use plenty of it. I am sure you won't but don't do what a former owner of my Father-in-law's old Lotus Carlton did an...
