Alpina clocks weren't produced for MPH cars. Richard Croxford had a set specially made by Alpina for 066 but it cost a fortune IIRC. With regards to a VIN decoder. I used to use bimmer.work (the replacement for your link) but it consistently comes back with "Oops, something went wrong!" Try: mdecode...

It's been done to a couple of the B10 BT's nemesis too.

Both in Germany. I saw one in real life when I was in Mainz, it was for sale in garage that I went past in a cab.

I think the run out of the B5 was base don the LCI but because they had the updated gearbox etc. they would be upgraded to the B5S spec.

I cold be talking out of my wazoo but I am sure I saw threads about upgrading late B5 models to B5S spec.

Welcome to the forum. While I can't offer any specific information on the E46. I have had a couple of E39s with Switchtronic transmissions and one thing they do over the BMW standard box (differing control firmware) is that when you move the gear lever to manual mode, the car doesn't drop a gear whi...

I saw the tweet, not bad for a 4 year old car. A couple of high milers have popped up. Charles' B3S has done over 100k more and there was a 385k D3 on here recently.

Not that I am in the market but what's it up for? I am guessing is won't be going through the BMW AUC process though

Hey Onzie,

Thanks for the reply. I suppose 390 may be a possibility.

It's not 395 as far as I can tell.

I am geeking it up building a few lists up for my own, sad, records and these two have tripped me up.

Does anyone know anything about D3 FJ07 FHN and FH07 FJN?

Mornings folks. Does anyone know anything about D3 MT saloon FJ07 FHN and FJ07 FJN? I have records of both being Montego Blue saloons with a build number of 391. I have pictures of FJ07 FJN which tie in with it being 391 (formerly B3 YTE) although FJ07 FJN is no longer a valid registration so I assu...

Ross is a tidy player, I love watching his stick work. I was at the home game, my wife and I were doing the catering. If I recall correctly we trailed all the way through until about 4.40 from the end then nicked it at 1.22 for the game. Another great game but neither did my stress levels much good ...

Ah good stuff. Congratulations on the win yesterday. I am a Chieftains fan so not quite the result we were after yesterday but well done to all of you. Definitely a good game and a clean one too. I am hoping we will see you again this Easter at Bracknell so if we do, perhaps we can have some Alpina ...
