Awhile back someone mentioned that the rear decals were in the wrong place. I’m going to have them redone, how do I know where to place them? I think it’s that they are too high atm.
Also similar with the wheel centre emblems, someone noticed straightway that they weren’t originals, how?

Re: Restoring #78 - A mini blog on my E46 B3 Cabrio
Thanks bud. Karl at Ultimate Audio in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire did my X5 with Audison and Hertz parts earlier this year. Incredible difference. I’m thinking the same with this but I want to maintain the original head unit with the tape so not sure of possibilities. Audison have an amp add-on for h...

Restoring #78 - A mini blog on my E46 B3 Cabrio
Hey Team, I wasn't sure where to put this but I wanted a little record of the process of restoring my B3. Restore is a strong word, it works fine, but needs work. Mostly small things but I want to bring it up to "show" standard and in that respect there is a lot to do. It might interest some but I g...

Re: ALPINA wheel valves
Great thread. I need to do this on my E46 B3 but do not have the confidence to do it myself. Is there anyone around Birmingham or the midlands that can do this for me? Either a garage or a member? Happy to pay.

B3 3.3 E46 Part Catalogue ENGLISH
Hi team, Does anyone have an english version of the parts catalogue for a B3 E46? The directory has the german version or the english version for the B3S. I did search the forum but couldn't see it - sorry if it is floating around. If we do find one, can the download section be updated? Thanks!

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
Yeah a few people mentioned that so when Hannah called and quoted £400 I was very surprised. They are arranging for it to be done at Solihull too so i don't have to trek up to Notts! Going to wait on Tier 4 to reduce down though as it's not essential.

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
Update - Happy New Year all. Unfortunately I got an email from Matt at MPM before Christmas that he was unhappy with my comments in this thread and would prefer not to do my wheel. Anyway... I contacted Synter Nottingham and they are doing me a totally new wheel for £400. So I'm probably just going ...

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
contacted him. thanks. Stitching looks good but the finishing not so good. will see what the price is. How does the finishing not look so good just out of curiosity Raj? I collected that wheel and the other one that was made just after and they were fantastic. Both customers and myself are incredib...

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
Thanks for the input bud. Yours looks nice. What a great way to sell a car by the way. The detail you've provided in that google drive album - I'd happily buy a car off you! I'm still not sure where to head with it. It going back into storage for a bit so no rush. I like your point about it being ri...

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
How much did it set you back? Looks nice. That was my thinking originally. It is all reversible. Not thought about alcantara. Never driven a car with it on. How do you find it? I've thought about the gaiters too but think that might be too modded to have them in black. I was considering redoing them...

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
That does appear to be an ok price then. Perhaps Royal was too cheap? I think I'll go with MPM and ditched the perforated leather and the augmentation. If Alpina did thicker wheels as an option then then is in keeping. I thought that if I was changing it anyway by making it thicker, I may as well go...

Re: Steering Wheel refurb - Royal not available
yeah it's bad. It was left in a garage for a year before I bought it.
Up/down just fell off.
The stitching is green and blue but very worn. Look at the second to last picture.
