That may be a Paris motor launch interior, but it’s not for everyone (certainly not for me).

No, the early ones were fitted with the ordinary BMW dials.

Hadn’t realised that - thanks 👍

Re: Ex Munich legends B10 v8

Wouldn’t the car originally have come with blue dials on the dashboard?

Re: Seems legit...

How horrible. Think my least favourite element is the chrome stuck on around the rear lights - that, or the reflectors on the rear bumper.

B5/D5 saloon, Chiswick, 6 September

Seen at about one p.m. today, a dark-coloured B5/D5 saloon parked on Staveley Road, London W4. I was driving past with my mind on other things, so had passed it before I could think to look at the colour / model designation. Guess it was an F10.

Re: B3 / B5

They are very rare in green, possibly the rarest colour to find them in Definitely the rarest colour for UK Alpina's generally imho, any shade of green. However, more common in B3 Tourings particularly. For example, in the last couple of years of all the B3/B5 Tourings that have come for sale: BMW ...

Re: B3 / B5

I recently made the move to an F31 D3. I have driven F11/G31 (non-Alpina) and they don't feel that much larger from the driving seat, but clearing when parking they are! The interior of the G31 is really a step up, when compared to the F31, but then so is the cost! The D3 is my first auto and first...

Re: B3 / B5

Can't comment on ALPINA versions of any as I've stayed away from them, but driven plenty of recent 3's, 4's and 5's: in fact was in a 4 just last week. The 5 is a more rounded car, and far better designed and put together (I have a major issue with BMW's continual use of the manual handbrake on the...

B3 / B5

Having parted with my B10 earlier in the year I find myself thinking about another Alpina - but this time an estate car body with an automatic gearbox (I have moved to London and the South Circular is a pain). Wondered if there might be some advice regarding the way in which the B3 and B5 models dri...

Re: Hello

Thanks :) Yes, that would have been mine. I bought it from a dealer (nowhere special) in February or March 2012. While I had the car it had a couple of sets of tyres, a new radiator, a new wiper stalk, a new air conditioning compressor and drier, some work renewing worn rear suspension components, r...

Re: Hello

At Sainsbury's a couple of years ago, looking unusually shiny (it was early spring, and at that stage the car was covering about 2000 miles / month, so was mostly looking grimy)
