I can understand the frustration, but if it comes back with an engine replacement it would be a nice end to the chapter...you can then do another 200k miles in it! Regardless of the issues, I think this car was a cracking buy for the cost, and I love the colour combination. As said earlier in the th...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

I drove from Cesky Raj in the Czech Republic to Bonn today - 500 miles in a little over 8hrs, that included two stops for baby feeding/dog weeing/fuel...the first stop was a bit premature as the Czech Border Police stopped us to check our paperwork. I think they just wanted to see the car to be hone...

Re: alpina wheel cap locks

Had a new pair of rear tyres fitted yesterday and the dealer had issues getting one of the caps off as the barrel had rusted. We had to spray shitloads of WD40 into the lock and around the plate...then I drove the car up the road for 5 mins in order for it to lube itself up. Managed then to get it o...

Re: Hello from a new roadster owner

Welcome! I've also purchased a Roadster from the UK, but as I live in New Zealand I still have to wait another month before I see it, currently its made its way to Singapore. How are you finding your new ownership? your roadster certainly looks very nice! Stop pinching our Roadsters! That's pretty ...

That looks very tidy...great colour combo. Welcome and I hope you enjoy the car. I test drove one years ago when they were relatively new and loved it.

Re: The last F31 B3S

That's lovely, what a machine. Did the D3 go via a dealer or did the auction work out?

It was already up to more than I could pay, but I'm glad it went for more as its means the one I have is still worth something!

Re: D3 Touring Auction

I fear that the case with all the misplaced diesel hate.

Im guestimating it would be circa £28k - £32k. I'm tempted to have a bid myself. Clearly I hope it's worth more!

Re: Wheel repair

Another vote for Lepsons. They repainted my 997 wheels and fixed a pretty bit kerb issue on one of them. Top quality stuff.
