PMd you

Yes lots of advice on 5 Forum, mainly constructive. some a little OCD but understandable  from a detail driven buyer's point of view.

No rush.

Hmmm
Similar spec to mine (bar sunroof), cant see any photos but that could be our work firewall.

So £4K more than mine (probably better bodywork!) , lets see if it sells........that might tempt me to spend a bit on sorting bits on my car.

Hmm, as this is only 3 miles from where I live i'll check the diary when I get home.

If I still have the Alp (and if so would have had bodywork tidied) I'll bring along mine - B10 3.3 Touring Manual

It does have forum.bmw5.co.uk window stickers - is that OK?

Bump?

Happy to negotiate on price within reason - I'n not a dealer so no 'can't accept that much as i've got to feed the kids' retorts to sensible offers below the asking price!

Thanks

B10 3.3 Manual Touring - possibly up for grabs.

This is the bodily 'tired' one that was discussed back last October in detail (FG51XDH). Touring Build No 54. 118,500 miles approx. Just after I bought it I broke my neck and a few other bones in a cycling accident that meant the car could be taken away and have the relevant bits it needed doing on ...

Good price but still not sold, weird when you see the recent prices some decent E39 540s and 530ds are making (as in selling for).#

Better nick than my 51 Plate Touring but its an auto and has done 30K more miles than mine.

Thanks for that, it was done by an ex Ferrari mechanic who looked after the car for a few years and knew what he was doing by all accounts and the PO always specified genuine parts . Might try a rolling road dyno some time but it is at least as quick as my previous E39 540 so I'm happy its still got...

Genuine 3.3 head?

My Car 2001 B10 No 54 Touring 3.3 Manual had a recon cylinder head/new vanos etc at 80,000m in 2008 at a cost of £4,200. I've always assumed it was a genuine Alpina Head but: 1 how do I check? 2 is it worth checking as I assumed a standard BMW item wouldn't be compatible with all the Alpina gubbins...

Not using it during the summer months!!! I would rather be driving the Alpina than I would the Stag. Much more exclusivity 8) Please post some pictures once you get her back from the body shop. Sometimes choice is a difficult thing to deal with, the Alpina is the quietest exhaust of my thre...

B10 3.3 Fuel filter

The dealer has sent me a non matching fuel filter, they are aware that 'bespoke' cars can have issues where there may be minor parts used as available rather than what is listed on the databases. So has anyone else had this issue? Anyone enlighten me on a selection of fuel filter part numbers for a ...
