I think anybody who actually cares about these things take very little notice of a book of stamp, unless backed up the invoices to along with them. No book but lots of receipts and invoices is just fine imo,

I spoke to the guy who runs royal steering wheels at Gaydon about this issue. I told hi. If he could learn the process to replicate the Alpina stitching he would be kept busy with Alpina owners. He told me he would look into it but don’t know how far this idea has progresses.
This is only 1 of 3 apparently so not many to choose from really! There are 8 UK registered B5 tourings. Check the build figures for confirmation. As Charles’s states the prep is the important bit. Personally I was amazed the difference to the surface of the paint felt like after using a clay bar. You clean the car first then use a clay bar with a little quick detailer to help lubricate and the difference is night and day to before and after! ...
Motorhub in keighley have just got a B10 V8 touring in. It was for sale earlier in the year and went to auction and these guys got it by the look of it. Might be worth saving before it’s been there too long.
A good result for Dan. It was a lovely car in great condition when I saw it at Gaydon this year irrespective of the non OEM parts fitted. This is only 1 of 3 apparently so not many to choose from really!
