I've had an E91 BT (touring version) and it's one of the best cars I've had the pleasure of driving and owning. They're fairly basic in terms of toys but you can do a few things with them to enhance them. The handling is great - I had the manual car and it was good, just running out of a little stea...

Keep in touch, i'm in no rush and would prefer the car to go to someone who appreciates Alpinas.

Looks good.

Out of interest, what mileage were you at when you had to have the front pad change?

Feel corrected - they're not. :)

Collected mine from Buchloe and drove it home - great journey.

The RS200 is an amazing car, but awful to drive unless you're dancing it along a rally stage. The Bailey RS2000 battles at Donington were always awesome to watch, remember watching Paul Bailey & Steve Scott doing battle many a time. Whilst I'd love to keep them all Simon, realistically it's the E46 ...

Too many cars?

So the garage will get a little overcrowded in 10 days tie with the arrival of another car, which means to be honest I may have to move on either my Mk1 Focus RS or the Alpina B3 3.3 I know what the market is like for the Focus - but not really paid any attention to the market for the Alpina. Can an...

Tyre pressures are effected bt temperature. The higher the temps the higher the pressures go.

On the D3 the rears will stay fairly constant whilst the fronts increase leading to changes in tyre temp. The small changes you see aren't really anything to worry about.

Shouldn't have put in an build plate with Alpina's details on it IMHO, an Onyx one would have been more appropriate and held more sway with the uniqueness, instead it just looks like a cheap copy

Charles has pretty much hit the nail on the head and burried in the wood with his post. I'd also factor in the lack of public awareness of the Alpina brand in the UK. On continental Europe, the brand awareness is far higher and therefore demand is greater for Alpina's. The ride and handling of the E...

If they can be factory coded to Alpina design (like the Sat Nav opening flash display can be) then yes i'd say that it's possible to code them to the car correctly.

Best way would be to interrogate any F3x BMW that has the 6wb display and see if the Dash ECU has Alpina options to set the display to.

I have noticed alot of people on here are conservative about the price of alot rare Alpina's, some are asking alot and jumping on band wagon and using the words modern classic, investment etc and pricing them well out but then if there in no rush to sell it or dont need to then who cares? I dont, o...
