Re: Car S.O.S E30 ALPINA

"Sytner of Nottingham do have all the information". Not correct, they may have some information. Reason being back in the day the job card was a white cardboard sheet and hand written. These were kept in a cardboard box, over the years some people it is alleged were allowed to look through them as n...

Re: Ultimate BMW - Sunday 28th April 2024 - British Motor Museum

Question what is the earliest time we can get in? I have been before and found that the gates were shut and had to queue outside.

Re: Ultimate BMW - Sunday 28th April 2024 - British Motor Museum

My understanding from reading comments by the organiser was that all display areas for all cars have been sold out and that only spectator car parking is now avaialble. Might be worth checking to avoid disappointment.

Re: 2024 potential meet Sytner Maidenhead

Therefore, If person A, goes to Sytner and say hey I would like to buy xxx model ALPINA and I want a test drive. Then has a secreted camera and films it, who owns those intellectual property rights? Do they or Sytner? I guess that Sytner may have some disclaimer to be signed before allowing a test d...

The white B8 I am told that the offered to reduce it by 15K. I think it was 155K and now offered at 140K. Not bad if you have some loose change.

Re: 2024 potential meet Sytner Maidenhead

I think that there is a subtle different between someone reviewing their opinion, if they are doing it for commercial purposes. Either in the capacity as an individual who may for example post it on social media and get monies from advertising revenues or as a business either sole trader, self emplo...

Re: Latest Rumours- only B7 and XB7 from BMW?

I suspect that the aforementioned comments are true and like the 760Li etc, when they were still being made one hardly saw any in a showroom. Re: ALPINA Register at BimmerFest - Sunday 9th June 2024

wow that is interesting the year I went there were a host of ALPINA cars, a fair few from our group, but many from mainland Europe. It is correct there were various versions of an ALPINA from a badge to a fully wannabe replica, but I never went to wind up the natives. I enjoyed it but we did make a ...

I have had confirmation from the BMW Car Club Gb there is no restriction on the number of ALPINA cars that can display. Again you do NOT need to be a member to attend.

Re: List of Alpina Attendees Thruxton

I am going, so is Simon Alcorn, Sam Sheldrick and graham hatch we are all taking at least one ALPINA each. The BMWCCGB will not disclose how many people have bought tickets for ALPINA and cant give their names due to GDPR, we may get numbers nearer the date.
