Whenever I've been asked about the difference between the two, I've explained it as follows...

Having an Alpina is like being a member of White's whereas ownership of an ///M is akin to being a regular at Stringfellows...

Lots of people on Z4-Forum have used RBM with plenty of positive feedback - Ross, the owner, is a member on there (bowser134) and IIRC he worked for Sytner for about 15 years prior to setting up RBM

Listening to various reports this morning that the latest budget will propose a 15% increase in Diesel Fuel with VAT on top so more like 25%. Which would mean diesel would be around £2,20 per litre. On all my cars I've always used a smear of copper grease (no particular brand) over the hub surface before refitting the wheels and never had a problem with seizing.

If you really want metal caps (and you hunt around a bit), you can get metal caps with a plastic liner that avoids the corrosion problems

Section at the end filmed at Canary Wharf, one of the cars was a Black C2 2.5 Cab - reg G831 CLF

Think the owner's name was Phil (anyone on here?), he said he's had it for 13 years

I've used ONR (Optimum No Rinse) to good effect when I've had no other way to wash the car before a show.

...but I wouldn't use any of the waterless methods as a regular thing...
