I had the same symptoms with the light flickering, turned out to be just the sensor as a recall, so thankfully the easiest of the issues.

I was the 3rd owner as far as I’m aware. Sytner Press Car then a guy at Linby Notts as I recall his address as the prev owner on the V5. Hope that helps.
