I am the 'previous owner' mentioned in the article, glad to see its gone to a good home and that Dom didn't take credit for the amount of money and effort I put into keeping No38 on the road and looking good

Dunk, You are going to hate this but only in the last month a full black with piping and roundels Alpina interior was for sale on E-Bay along with door cards. To suit E46 Model looked very nice and never went for silly money, I did post on here directing members to the ad in the For Sale section. I...

Yes the mats are still available, through any BMW dealer. As far as I'm aware you can still get the full E36 range of parts. Whats the problem with the steering wheel? If its just worn leather then there are a number of places that can recover them, John from Bespoke Leathering does a mean Alpina st...

Bloody good advice there!! E46 prices in general are continuing to fall, I would hate to think what a £28k B3S is going to be worth in real terms in a couple of years! I'm doing a lot more mileage now and my old E36 is not doing well, as a result I've been pondering getting something a bit younger,...

I guess the polititians were banking on this thinking when we switched to metering fuel by the litre as opposed to the gallon, ' it's only gone up a couple of pence a litre' , I suspect that if we were still buying it by the gallon we'd be a lot more angry than we currently seem to be. Which ever wa...

The sets of 'fake' Alpina badges I've had have all been of good quality, well the same as the OE roundels at least, they haven't faded any quicker, or required any fixative

Hopefully sometime in the near future when I change from my B3 3.2 to a E46 B3 one of the first jobs will be to remove the wood trim, if its possible to get it out without damaging the individual parts. Rather than replacing it with any OE carbon trim, I'm going to have some hand laid show quality c...
