D3 Biturbo F30 LCI

http://www.thealpinaregister.com/D3/Bi-Turbo/saloon/232

I am afraid that I just don't drive my Alpina enough to justify keeping it, so I am putting it up for sale.

Very highly spec'd and in mint condition with just 5,000m.

Any interest, please IM me.

ALPINA D3 Biturbo F30 LCI

http://www.thealpinaregister.com/D3/Bi-Turbo/saloon/232 I have decided that I just don't drive my Alpina enough, and that I am going to sell it. It is very highly spec'd, and in mint condition with Topaz Paint Protection Film on the front of the car, so no stone chips. It has done less than 5,000 mi...

They need to bring xDrive to the RHD cars. 660Nm is proving a problem for RWD cars, as is shown by the difference between the two models.

Journalists often ask why ALPINA chose to put buttons on the wheel when everyone else use paddles. I bit of research into the history of switchtronic would tell them that ALPINA put buttons on the steering wheel before other companies started using 'flappy paddles'!! They have just never changed. I ...

Be interested to know why you didn't go for the steering wheel, I quite fancy that option. Guy, could I ask you what colour your car is, I am thinking of med blue and wonder if that's your choice. Its ALPINA Blue! Its under very bright lights at a detailers, which is why it looks less purple than u...

A question though, does Sport+ completely disengage the traction control, or just loosen its limits? I think you have you have to press the traction control butting itself for it to actually go 'off' right? Yes, Sport changes the gear shifts pattern, throttle response and steering, Sport+ relaxes t...

The engine is run in at 1,000 miles, but really frees up at 5,000 miles. A significant difference in torque and power (and economy). Engine pulls to 4,500 rpm, so a bit more head room above your 3,000 limit. BMW LEDs aren't significantly different from xenons - I think it is more noticeable on Audis...

Yep, the BMW M car is less extreme and more adaptable, closing the gap that used to exist between Alpina and M, plus the diesel engine is a cracker with less depreciation.

Hi Joe, I did watch the YouTube video a few days ago and thought you liked the car! So pleasant surprise to see you are considering buying one yourself. The B3 is a great car, big enough to be practical but small and light enough to be very quick and nimble. Great front end (one of the best), and th...

For the very reasons Bert mentioned, is why I like driving my Sierra Cosworth albeit that it's got a blower on it! It's raw, not clinical. It's like having a great big donar kebab from the food van where as the Diesel powered Alpina's will give you clinical food served on a silver platter by white ...

Yes - completely agree that is a great, cost optimised spec. Med blue is lovely in the flesh - I saw one at Goodwood. With Decals, it looks regal!! Prof nav is a must. HUD with speed is great, and essential in a car which breaks the national speed limit in around 4 seconds! Cashmere merino is lovely...
