Roadster S Register

Just been looking at the Roadster S register and of the all the cars on there ( which I assume are the 178 UK cars), 70 were registered with Alpina UK in December 2016.
What's going on?
Do they still own 47% of the UK stock or are they buying up all our cars?
Answers on a postcard please. :?

If it was not a 5 hour drive I would be interested.
Shame that 6 Roadster owners in the same area cannot get together.

Sytner have a 04 plate on sale at £23.5k at the moment. That's more than I paid for mine from them 8 years ago.
But the Z4M's and coupe are increasing more.

I have the super sports on my Roadster S and they are the best tyres I have ever used. Do not need to worry about the car stepping out as the grip is great.
Wear wise, I have done 16k and they are down to 4mm. So might get another 8k from them.

Hi Simon
Can you supply Alpina letters decals for my Roadster S? Not bothered with stripes, just need the letters in silver.
PM sent.
Thanks,

Bodywork Warranty on a Roadster S?

How long is the bodywork warranty on a 2005 Roadster S?
Noticed a small bubble of rust under the paint on the boot lid just under the spoiler and was wondering if the paint was still under warranty.

Just looked on VOSA for for MOT history and it does not find the new test. But if I search the reg and test number it finds the test? Thanks for the replies. Think I will scan the cert and email to VOSA tomorrow with an explination.

MOT VIN

Had the Roadster S in for the test yesterday, passed no problem. At home looking at the paperwork they have used the BMW VIN, not the Alpina one. Is this a problem for insurance or tax? Thought something was up when they called and said the reg could not be found on the system, but I told them the V...

What Battery in a Roadster

Can anyone tell me what battery should be fitted to a Roadster S. Looking to replace mine due to slow cranking and not sure what to get.
Looking at the Bosch website it states a 85A, 800CCA, other sites say 70A, 720CCA and the one that's fitted is a BMW 70A unit.
What was in / is in yours?

4 Seat Roadster?

Just got back my V5 after swapping to a personnel plate and noticed that my car is described as having 4 seats. Do any other Roadster owners have the same or is it a mistake at DVLA?
