Re: E34 B10 BiTurbo #463

This car was a complete rusty molested wreck that got dumped at ML a few years ago as a non runner with suspect modifications.

I have some pics of it on my phone.

Seems its fortunes have turned around to a degree.

Re: Badges

Silver 2 door, don’t remember the number. Sorry. Not clued up n these things but presumably could have been reshelled. Remember what did catch my eye was the poor condition. I know of a silver C2 2.5 that had been reshelled at some point in its life. The car still exists but has been painted Alpina...

Re: E28 B9 dark green

This whole badge position thing got me intrigued so i checked some period road test articles of the B9 when new and yep, Sytner built B9's with the B9 3.5 badge on the left. Interesting though as subsequent Sytner built Alpinas had the Bx and Cx badges on the right. Maybe it was a case of Sytner inc...

Re: G30 BiTurbo Saloon

A fantastic car, good luck with the sale! I got the chance to have a go in a touring version and was very impressed. The LSD was particularly useful - all the M5's I test drove at the time I was looking lacked the ability to put their power down without squirming side to side up the road - the LSD m...

That is very nice but the boot badges that way round just feels wrong to me (i know it supposed to be original)

I believe it is #293 but never verified that.
The badges are the wrong way round.

And its a bloody pet hate of mine!

With its new injectors, spark plugs and a tank full of V power we had a good chance of making good figures. Alpina are...

Re: White C2 2.7 pukar old one

£14k seems steep for a pair of side skirts, stripes and a C2 plate!!!

I sold it to this guy for £19k and he told me it was going to Maylasia.

Re: B3 3.3 saloon #579 night blue

Double vanos M52tu or M54 engine, not the correct S52 based single vanos engine.

Does have two VIN numbers on the strut tower though.

Maybe the original 3.3 engine failed for one reason or another and replaced with an M54B30?

Re: F31 D3BT

Thats a shame regarding the vent gauge but not surprising. I tried to order a gauge for my E92 direct from Awron (as they have more features than the Awron one made for Alpina) and paid via paypal. Ended up having to open a case with PP as didn't receive anything after several weeks, not even an ema...

Re: F31 D3BT

 is there something I should know about it?? Please PM me if so? Cheers Dan Absolutely nothing to be worried about and apologies if it came across that way! I enquired with Gary Lott earlier this year about ordering a new F31 B3S to be told that no more orders could be taken as production wa...

Re: F31 D3BT

As for the new car, the last one to be imported into the uk by Sytner turned into a cancelled order, so I jumped on it. It’s in Alpina Green II with decals and forged wheels and a massive spec. So I got the last F31 B3S. Pics when she arrives. Ah, #210. Didn't realise that was offically for sale ye...

I think the silver is a good accompaniment to the bold interior.

What colour would pair that interior with?
A nice blue paint.

Le man, Avus, Tanzanite, Monaco, Santorini, Velvet

Or a purple,

Mora, Techno, Daytona

And of course black, white, grey.
